I’m happy to present five new paintings in an exhibition entitled Soot Covered Reverie, opening Friday, June 1 at GARDENfresh Gallery in Chicago. The show will also feature new work by David Lowman and Michael Pajon, and an installation by PST in the Project Space.

Opening reception Friday June 1st, 2007, 6 – 10pm.
Exhibition continues through July 7th, 2007.
If the gods of overnight shipping decide to smile down upon the world, three additional bonus paintings will arrive at the gallery Friday morning to be included in the show [UPDATE - they arrived in time for the opening!].

For the upcoming Art Dorks show at Thinkspace, Dan had the cool idea to have a few of his pals paint on Bingo cards with him. I started this one and Dan finished it. We titled it Fluent Astroglia.

I have the pleasure of appearing in a three person exhibition at the esteemed GARDENfresh Gallery, in Chicago (Scroll all the way down for the new pieces I’m premiering in the show).

David Lowman hails from Seattle, WA. Soot Covered Reverie marks his return to art making after a four year absence making punk rock with his band the Hopscotch Boys. Previous shows include Happiness at GARDENfresh and Division at Ideotech both in Chicago. Aaron Nather is an artist based in Pasadena, CA upcoming shows include Art Dorks Collective curated by Brendan Danielson at Thinkspace Gallery in LA and Don’t Wake Daddy II, Curated by Heiko Müller at Feinkunst Krüger, in Hamburg. Nather’s work has been featured in Juxtapoz Online and DPI Magazines. Michael Pajon, lives and works in Chicago, IL, recent exhibitions include group shows at Ann Nathan Gallery in Chicago, La Luz De Jesus in LA and Adam Baumgold Gallery in NYC. Pajon also had a booth at the Artist Project during Art Chicago.

GARDENfresh Gallery
