Just taking a break from the swirling liquids. Outside of being a daddy, this is pretty much what I spend all my spare time doing… painting like crazy. This is some early progress on a few new ones. Doesn’t look like much, but this will become thirteen new pieces in a few days time.
Issue 5 of Oddica Magazine just posted on the Oddica site. Man, that mag just gets better and better. So much good stuff in there. It’s a free download, so be sure to check out all the yummy art.
My piece for this issue is called Man With Red Tie. I cheated and added a bunch more stuff to it today, so it looks a bit different that when I submitted it to Oddica. Look out for this one at the Art Dorks show coming up at Thinkspace in LA. More news on that in a bit…

Just finished my portion of a collaboration I’m working on with Lisa. I’ve admired her work for a long time, and we’ve been talking about doing this for a while. Looks like it’s finally coming together. We’re each starting a couple of pieces, then shipping them to one another to finish for one another. These are the ones I started, and I’m shipping these off to her in Houston this weekend. Can’t wait to see what she does with them. I’ll post more on this project in a bit…
