Just finished my portion of a collaboration I’m working on with Lisa. I’ve admired her work for a long time, and we’ve been talking about doing this for a while. Looks like it’s finally coming together. We’re each starting a couple of pieces, then shipping them to one another to finish for one another. These are the ones I started, and I’m shipping these off to her in Houston this weekend. Can’t wait to see what she does with them. I’ll post more on this project in a bit…

Many thanks to my friend Heiko in Germany, and to Lulu at DPI. You guys rock.
Aaron Nather in Belio Magazine, Madrid
Published March 22nd, 2007 in News and Publications. 0 CommentsOver the weekend I got a pleasant surprise in the mail. The international postal service finally came through and managed to deliver my copies of Belio Magazine. The package took nearly eight weeks to arrive from Madrid! It was worth the wait, though. Pablo, Javier and their crew put together a beautiful publication.
Three of my pieces were included in the issue. One of them (above, on the left) was mashed-up with the work of my friend (and art hero) Robert Hardgrave. I wonder what it would look like if we had done this on purpose… Check out Robert’s work on Flickr. It’s completely unique and unlike anything I’ve seen.
The piece pictured above is called The Twin Suns of Love and Yearning. You can see it uncropped here on Flickr.
